Factory Ship Mode
Switch the ERT from its current programmed configuration (frequency and power level at which it transmits its SCM) to Factory Ship Mode. When in Factory Ship Mode, ERTs do not transmit radio messages. When the workflow completes, a success message indicates the ERT or meter is switched to Factory Ship Mode.
For information on switching the ERT or meter from Factory Ship Mode and into an operating mode, see Gen5 and OpenWay Riva ERTs and Meters Operating Mode Activation.
The inputs may vary by device. Expand the device type you're working with for its input details.
Note: Always perform the Factory Ship Mode command in a controlled environment, such as a meter shop, and only after the ERT is removed from the meter.
